Krieger Wedding – 10.4.14 – Las Vegas, NV

Weddings, oh weddings. I love them, yet I hate them. Do I know why? Nope. It’s just the way I am. However, one thing does ring true…

I love love.

I’m your Sensitive Sally, your Emotional Emily, your Crying Christine. I’m a blubbering fool at any wedding I attend. And this wedding was no different. I about lost it when the bride came down the aisle and the groom’s eyes started to tear up. Rough stuff, I tell ya.

A little back story on this couple. I met Tawnya during my freshman year at UNLV. She was my suite mate (room whom we shared a bathroom with). We hated each other at first. Not sure why, girls being girls I guess. Slowly but surely we started to get to know one another, finding out that we only lived an hour apart, and we had almost the exact same personality. An amazing friendship was born.

We’ve always tried to talk every here and there, luckily having that friendship that just picks up where it left off. So when she stayed in Vegas and I went back home, it was like leaving someone behind. However, she met Blake and went I met him for the first time, I knew he was the one for her. They had this mean love, the kind where they are always just picking on each other, but the love in their eyes was undeniable. I had the honor of taking their maternity photos over 3 years ago and their love has just gotten stronger since then.

I was truly honored to be asked by Tawnya not only to attend the wedding, but photograph it as well. It was a truly appreciative moment and I’m so happy she had faith in me to give her a moment she’ll never forget.

Without further adieu, I present to you Mr. and Mrs. Blake Krieger!

(P.S.: No photos were allowed to be taken at the ceremony.)
